Uniform Policy

Students are expected to model proper examples of Islamic dress. To ensure modesty and a disciplined academic environment, all students will acquire and wear the necessary uniform items appropriate for their grade level. Students must remain in uniform at all times while on the school grounds, as well as during all field trips and other related school activities, unless otherwise authorized by the administration. The school reserves the right to refuse admission into class and school to any student out of uniform. In addition, it is the school’s right to determine if an item being worn complies with uniform policy, including color of clothing (sweater, pants, jumper, socks, etc.). Students who fail to comply with uniform requirements are subject to disciplinary action. Students are expected to follow the uniform policy. The uniform specifications are as follows:

** Fridays will be dress down days for all students throughout the school year. **

➤ Light blue jumper dress (must be long enough to pass the knees). Short or long sleeves are acceptable. Jumper available at Old Navy and other retail stores. (See images below)
➤ Navy blue or black pants under the jumper.
➤ Navy blue or black leggings are also an option under the jumper.
➤ Tights are not allowed.
➤ For cold weather days, navy blue or black sweater only (button or zipper).
➤ Black or white socks only.
➤ Hair must be out of the child’s face and appropriately brushed/combed as well as tied back.
➤ No long skirts, short skirts, or skirts are allowed.
➤ No jeans, sweat pants, athletic pants, tight pants, hoodies, hats, or t-shirts (without collar) are allowed during school hours.
➤ For salaah, grades KG and up will require a plain white hijab only. Preference is for an instant hijab that can be easily put on and taken off, one or two pieces. See images below for acceptable options. (This hijab must stay at school). You can purchase this from the school for $10.00 each.

➤ Plain all black flats, penny loafers, or athletic shoes with no designs. (See images below).
➤ No multi-colored pictures, glitter, stripes, gems, designs, light ups, etc.
➤ No heels and/or no wheels.
➤ Gym shoes can be worn on gym days only.
